Reiki – Universal Life Force Energy
Reiki is an ancient hands on technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. This life force energy can also be described as chi or the energy that radiates warmth from the body and is an electrical type of energy.
What to Expect:
The client is fully clothed (except for shoes) and relaxes on a table during a treatment. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. A full Reiki treatment takes about an hour. Heat is the most common sensation
felt by the client. It can also be a vibration or tingling. Set hand positions are used that cover the chakras and internal organs. Sometimes these positions are changed intuitively by the practitioner to cover specific areas that need additional healing. Afterward we will discuss any impressions noticed during the treatment.
